Today we had a great research group meeting as always. The more people, the merrier. We started by talking about Parth’s project. We realized that his project had some issues about the participants. The sample size is less that what we thought. To be able to conduct the analysis, we should have at least 30 samples—in the case of cluster analysis, however, Parth and Dr.London figured out how can they could proceed the analysis and I’m happy for them that they can find a solution. Sometimes, god give us a test. Even though it’s tough, we need to be tougher.

Then we talked about my projects. I just finished the first draft of the second paper. So tomorrow I’ll work on the first paper  and try to finish it as soon as possible. After I finish, I could look back to the second paper. Today Dr.London gave me an advice that I should prioritize the examples in the results. Since the paper is quite long, we should just present the interesting data. After I trim it, hopefully, my paper will look interesting.

Finally, Wen talked about what he did in the past week. He did some readings. He also shared about his studying experiences. One thing that I like from him is that he’s very organized. I think I learned a lot of things from my advisors and colleagues. It’s so nice to be a part of RISE research group.
